Day of Rest?

I woke up to some Green Tea and a Square Cookie that was patiently waiting for me in the fridge

The agave was almost out so I did some SERIOUS drizzling, it was extra sweet just the way I like it.

I also woke up to a text from my sister inviting me to do some ass kicking in her basement. I can't decline this sort of thing so I headed over there for a killer FIGHTING work out video. I made two mistakes that went along with this decision. One, I took Bailey with and two, I took Bailey with. She ran around the basement like a tiny terror attacking everything in sight. She has a really strong fascination with strings, so her main focus was untying my sisters runners (luckily I sport velcro).

Bailey also shook a Paw for this yesterday morning:

Her Pain Meds. Should I be concerned?

Along with my tiny terror, I also showed up at my sister's house with shower gear. I hate getting ready so much that I figured a change of scenery might be nice, especially when the scenery is a shower with JETS.

I came home and had a snack of Cucs and Hummus while I scanned the fridge for Senior Veggies nearing the end of their days..

Next up a Bunch of Lunch

Now by the looks of this meal you might think a fork is necessary, but it’s not. I tossed all of this stuff on one pan and cooked it for quite some time at 400. I found some old Broccoli, an Amy's Veggie Burger and Acorn Squash.

In the afternoon, My Man and I headed over to his Dad's house to watch Canada take what they rightly deserved from the US, the Men's Hockey Gold Medal. I remembered why I don't like watching sports, if you care too much than it's just so intense and upsetting when something, like the US scoring with 6 seconds left to tie the game happens. I was MAD and I had only been paying attention for the last 2 minutes. However, I do love happy endings like Sidney Crosby's goal and seeing all of Canada get so pumped up for the game. I can't even imagine what it would have been like to be there. My man and I went to the World Junior US vs Canada game on New Years Eve this year and it was unreal. My man insisted we buy Canada gear and once I was there I knew why. I had the best time ever!! I also drank my first BIG draft beer (and second and third). I don't think I paid attention to one minute of the game (the crowd was way more entertaining and it's hard to focus on anything after that much beer) but I was LOVING the atmosphere.

Afterwards, his younger, good looking girlfriend prepared a celebratory feast.

The Chef (LOVE HER)

What's cooking good looking?

Maple Soy Salmon

This stuff was AHmazing

Her (former) secret recipe:

Maple Soy Salmon

¼ cup maple syrup
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Lime Juice
1 small Clove of Garlic minced
1 JalapeƱo seeded and minced
Pinch of Pepper

The Rice

The Broccoli

She boiled it and then added Parm and Butter (she let me take my serving out first because I only like mine with SALT).

The Setting

After supper my Man had hockey for the second time of the day so I decided to ignore both women's bad hair cuts and rent Julie & Julia on the dish. This time I managed to only rent it once. You know I never thought there was a big difference between HD and not HD but I immediately regreted renting the normal version (it was cheaper). It really does look kind fuzzy, especially after watching so many Blue Ray and HD movies. I'm not going to lie it crossed my mind to rent the HD and pay for two again, but then I remembered i'm not the only one who sees the bill.

I give this movie One Peanut Butter covered thumb up. It kept me entertained for an hour but during the last half my ADD started to kick in and the movie couldn't hold my attention. It's cute, but a little slow. Plus I tend like movies where I can admire what the actresses are wearing or how they look, it would be a very sad day if I was taking style cues from these two ladies.

Before bed I busted out a new package of Pumpernickle Bread with a NEW jar of PB - Does it get any better than this?

I was still kind of hungry so I had some straight up Cake Batter

1/2 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder with a tiny bit of Almond Milk

I was in bed at the crazy late hour of 10:00, so by 12:30 I was back in the Kitchen for more.

Banana and Cashew Butter

More PB and Pumpernickle

Okay I seriously need to stop doing this. Someone tell me to stop.

BACHELOR MONDAY TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!
