Breakfast Cookie & Java

1/3 Cup Oats, 1 Tbsp Almond Butter, 3/4 Smashed Banana, 2 Tbsp Almond Milk, Cinnamon and 1 Tsp Maca Powder.
I know what you're all thinking. You eat that cookie everyday, how weird are you?! Doesn't it get old? And you know what my answer is? Nope.
The morning past fairly quickly, which is really all you can ask for from a job. I loathe the days that drag on, the days where I spend the majority of my time trying to figure out how I can make a hut on the beach with a "no shoes allowed" welcome mat a reality. I usually come to the conclusion that I will just write it in the sand, it's more practical. When lunch rolled around I decided to go with some...
Left Overs

Bnut Squash Fries, Ketchup and a side of The City. I was so excited to see that I had at some point recorded last weeks episode. My favorite part was obviously when Roxy coined the term "Girly/Hooker". WHO isn't trying to achieve this look?? I made a mental note of the outfit in my mind and banked it for later use at the mall.

Side Note **I also grabbed the Naturally More Peanut Butter, Cinnamon Raisin Swirl PB and alternated eating them out of the jar. What? It was dessert.
When I got back to work I found this Sketchy Apple on my Sister's desk. She wasn't eating it because it had some severe discoloration going on. Not one to discriminate, I decided to tackle it and attempt to eat the parts that appeared to be good.

Some light reading in the background, The Healthy CEO and Every Family's Business - 12 Common Sense Steps to Protect Your Wealth.
When I was finished it looked like this..

I promise the Family Business will look better when I'm done with it.
When I got home from work I had an hour to kill before my Sister was coming over to go for a walk. I don't know about you, but when I have time to kill it always leads to SNACKING.
First up, Watermelon

Then I busted out the Kashi Crackers

After realizing the weight of the box had drastically changed since I brought it over to the couch I decided it was time to put it back. Better to put it back and NOT know how much I had then finish it and be sure. Time to move on..
Veggies and Hummus

Finally, my Sister arrived and I was sure glad she did. Any longer and I would have been back into the Peanut Butters. Thanks to my Sister we went for an hour long walk with Bailey and she was loving her life. I bet Bailey has two reactions when she goes for walks. If she see's me coming for her with her leash on she probably thinks, "Fudge, not her. Why are we even bothering?" When my SISTER puts her leash on I think it's more like, "YES, a WALK! A REAL walk."
For supper, I decided to put a spin on an old school favorite. My mom used to work nights as a nurse and so my Dad would cook us supper. His specialty and my fav? Wieners and Mac'n'Cheese.
Wieners

Yves Veggie Dogs. I try stay away from packaged over processed foods but these really aren't that bad. The ingredient list isn't super long and for the most part I knew what I was reading. Each dog has 70 calories, 9 grams of protein and I THINK 1.5 grams of fat.
The Mac

N'Cheese

4 Easy Steps
1) Slice the Wieners
2) Drain the Miracle Noodles and Toss into a pot on the stove
3) Add 2 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast and a few dashes of Salt and STIR
4) Combine ALL it and EAT
Tah Duh

Mix

I actually REALLY liked this. So easy, so simple and it actually tasted like Mac'n'Cheese. You just have to be sure to add enough Salt and feel free to add more Nurtitional Yeast. I considered adding Ketchup, since I did go through a phase where I ate my Kraft Dinner that way, BUT I figured i'd save that for a later date. Like today..
After supper I watched the Hills.
"Ed STAN-ley! Ed STAN-ley! Ed STAN-ley!"

The Hills led me to boredom, which led me to THIS..

Ezekiel English Muffin with Better Buttah.
That totally didn't count as my bedtime snack. I'm the one counting and I subtracted that instead of adding it. SO before bed I had..
Pumpernickle, PB AND Nature's Hollow Strawberry Preserves

I was out like a light at 9:30. It's true..
Roxy is so crazy! obv whitney brings her along for tv drama ratings.. otherwise im clueless why she would let roxy be untamed infront of executives lol.
ReplyDeleteWOW those noodles are incredible..ive heard of shirataki pasta before and am itching to try some. guilt-free for sure <3
Oh geez, snacking is my time killer of choice. I kind of hate it sometimes. I need more hobbies!
ReplyDeleteLove the KD w hot dogs spinoff you've got going there. great idea! But WHERE did you find those noodles? I really want to get some!
I absolutely hate Roxy. She's annoying...they all are really, but she's the only one that pisses me off because she thinks she's all edgy when in she's on an MTV reality show. I had some tofu noodles with nooch and marinara today...yummerz :) Hope you're having a great week girly!!
