Chocolate CHIP Cookies

Morning!!

Sunday, in between going for a walk with me, tanning and taking me for tea, my Sister baked a batch of her famous Chocolate Chip Cookies for my "work birthday". I'm spoiled. These things were definitely the highlight of my Monday. They're just so versatile.

I'll get the recipe ASAP and then you have to make them. If you make them and don't love them I'll give you your time back. That's right. Your time.

So last night my Man and I had a date night. I cooked us supper which I haven't done in FOREVER. I was excited to remind him how good of a cook I am. So while he was at the gym I got busy steaming, grilling, taste tasting, etc.. Since i've never quite mastered the art of timing everything was finished cooking and sitting on the plates 15 minutes before he got home. Enough time to do a little photo shoot.

I have to warn you about these next pictures. Looking at them one after another may make you motion sickness. My photography skills lack symmetry. And talent.

On the menu, COLD sweet potato, chicken skewers, shrimp/scallop skewers, corn on the cob and soggy asparagus. Top chef material for sure.



I tried to keep things fancy by putting the food that didn't fit on my Man's place on a plate in the middle.





Afterwards we watched No Strings Attached. I give this movie FOUR peanut butter covered thumbs up. It was SO cute and funny.
