Grand Canyon?
Or are the 7 wonders of the world overrated? I've seen bigger potholes in Regina. Ohhhh JUST kidding. They are slightly smaller.
Lake Havasu?
That's the infamous London Brigde of, "London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down, London Bridge is falling down, something, something, somethiiiiiing." Yeah, that one.
The Phoenix Zoo?
Unfortunately, I think they went with the "safari" theme. Typically I prefer the "dangerous ocean animals, like sharks" theme. I am willing to budge though.
I've googled, "Fun things to do in AZ", "10 Best Restaurants", "Best places to see in AZ" and "F@#$ you google you are no help". SO I am turning to YOU. What should I choose? Any better ideas? Any AHmazing restaurants you've heard of? It can be in or out of Phoenix. Think of the comment sections as a suggestion box and suggest away.
If I come back and there are none it will be confirmed that I am literally talking to myself on here, just as I suspected.
You know I'm here... I vote for Lake Havasu - don't know what there is to do but it looks super nice!!! And there's no ocean in Phoenix so this way you are getting some natural lake action! I bet it's cool? If there's a children's song named after it is has to be cool. Don't go to the zoo - it supports the captivity of wild animals... didn't you watch that dolphin documentary the cove? It's depressing but such an amazing documentary... even though I've always wanted to swim with dolphins I can never do it after watching the cove... I can't support that kind of treatment of animals! Okay sorry I'm done... go to the Lake and sing london bridges falling down!
ReplyDeleteI love going to zoo's, but if you've been to other zoo's before, and it doesn't have anything really quite different, than it may not be as unique as going to the Grand Canyon or the Lake. I've never heard of Lake Havasu before. It looks like pretty scenery. I'd probably vote for the Lake. :-)
ReplyDeleteLake Havasu rocks my socks off but I havent been to the grand canyon yet so it may be unfair of me to compare. Sedona AZ is a beautiful area too but its kinda opposite direction of where youre heading. Either which one you end up choosing have a great time!
ReplyDeleteGirl you gotta go to the grand canyon! It's so amazing and even more romantic when you go with your special someone! Lake Havasu is like a spring break spot...Phoenix zoo is not so much fun! Believe me I'm a true Arizonian and I've been to all of the above! I'll post about restaurants in a lil bit!
