Saturday night was a celebration HERE...
For one of my gorgeous gf's BIRTHDAY...
She booked the Prime Minister's Suite, duh. Since we got there early we decided it was a good opportunity to do a photoshoot before drinks started to overrule cameras.
If you can't tell, I wasn't sure what to do with my arm in this next picture. I decided to go with the "awkward hang".
I thieved this picture off Kel's twitter. It was taken later in the night and it's the only evidence I could find proving there was more than just the 5 of us there. Blurry, but I think you can still make out all the beauties.
This weekends grub was inspired by the Crazy Sexy Diet book I bought last Thursday. I've heard alot about it over the past few months and I've picked it up in Chapters (Walmart, Coles, basically everywhere) and read sections of it about 7 different times now. You know what they say, 7th times the charm. I think what finally pushed me to buy is the fact that i've been having trouble with my stomach for the past week and half (i'll spare you the details, you're welcome). If Kris Carr can live with terminal cancer I think she might be on to something. Plus Dr. Campbell the author of the China Study is a contributor, he's my fav! And the title helped too..
Some of the eats..
A side of Crazy Sexy Diet and Socca (1/4 Cup Chickpea Flour, 1/4 Cup Water, 1/4 Nutritional Yeast, Italian Spices).
Spiralized Zucchini, Tomatoes, Hummus, and a boat load of Nutritional Yeast.
Scoop of Vanilla Chai Whole Food Optimizer mixed with 1 Tbsp Raw Almond Butter and enough H20 to make it cookie dough like. I LOVE this. I'm officially obsessed with this doughy bowl and so excited it's UBER healthy. It's so healthy it's GREEN.
Veggies, Veggies, Veggies
Steamed Brussel Sprouts, Bnut Squash, Cauliflower, Hummus and Nutritional Yeast. Obviously eaten along with more Socca. If it ain't broken, don't fix it, just eat more.
I'll talk more about the book this week!!
