At 11:30 I was meeting my family for brunch and my Man was heading to training. I’m not a big fan of brunch, I’d rather not combine two meals into one. Plus I can’t wait until 11:30 to eat and I killed my stomach with Excedrin the night before. I filled my plate with fruit and veggies and went to town. No picture since some extended family was there and that would have to be followed with some Mayjah explaining. People at other tables wouldn’t phase me though, “What you want me to take a picture of your food too?!”
I came home and had LUNCH.

Sweet Taters and Tempeh (safe stomach food).
The rest of the afternoon was spent watching TV. It’s true, more TV. Now before you judge me remember that I’ve been having really bad headaches and I needed to try spend this weekend relaxing. Nothing relaxes me more like watching Kim and Nene Battle it out.
Mid Afternoon My Man peeled himself away from March Madness and I peeled myself away from crazy housewives and we ran into each other in the kitchen. We had a quick date and shared some Kale Chips.

Kale, Lemon Juice drizzled on top (game time decision since we were ALL out of Olive Oil Spray), Salt, Nutritional Yeast. Cook at 400 for about 15 minutes. SO good, Lemon Juice makes them EXTRA tasty.
Then I needed something sweet so I had some Cake Batter and PB. This was actually the perfect measurements of everything.

½ Scoop Muscle Food, Tbsp Water, LOTSA cinnamon and Tsp PB. Since I ate half the jar yesterday I cut it back to a Tsp instead of my usual heaping Tbsp.
By 6 o’clock I wasn’t even the slightest bit hungry and my Man was heading to hockey. Channel surfing doesn’t burn a lot of calories so in order to work up an appetite you actually need to move. I figured I hit the gym and do a little bit of LIGHT weights. No cardio since I know my migraine is loitering on the left side of my head.
I came home and made some GREEN Suppa:

Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli cooked with lemon juice, salt and Nutritional yeast and one Homemade Kidney Burger.
Burger Recipe
½ Cup Kidney Beans
1 Tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
1 Tbsp Stone Ground Mustard (any mustard really)
1 Tsp Soy Sauce
Toss all ingredients in the food processor, roll into a ball and flatten on pan to cook. Cook until both side harden and it looks like a burger!
I took this upstairs to watch more TV, I’m recovering remember? My medicine, Gossip Girls. When My Man got home from hockey I came downstairs for THIS:
Since I was up all night with a headache I had a few more snacks, my headaches are ruining my no late night feasting in a MAYJAH way.

I'm the same way about brunch- I'd rather just have two delicious meals!! Tempeh and sweet taters is much more my style :) Have a great Monday!!
