Round 2

Hey HEY hey!!

Alright so I woke up yesterday morning and got my Power on. It was the weight lifting class and it was HARD. So hard I was making ugly faces. I had planned on doing 20 minutes of cardio beforehand but, we’ll call her Gym Lady, was at the front desk and sucked me into conversation for 20 minutes. She was like this endless fountain of gossip and I drinking it in. Did I want to know half the things she told me? no. Did I miss my cardio opportunity? Yes. Was I rattled? Not really. She was pretty entertaining.

I got home and had the Muscle Food:

Mid way through Power I remembered that I had a Photo Shoot for a Magazine covering the Clothing Store yesterday afternoon. This was a problem seeing as how I allotted no time to showering and had every intention of going to work greasy. Needless to say I was later than usual, but when I arrived I dove into THIS:



I had to do the “running around” for the company today, which meant going to (the NEW) Walmart and getting an assortment of office supplies (Tylenol (weird I know), Garbage Cans, Sugar Cubes and Pop). There was the cutest old man blocking the Tylenol, his cart was like a barrier set up to keep me out. Waiting for an opening I did however, learn a few things about him…

1. He’s far sited
2. He has a cold
3. He’s on budget.

I know this because he looked at every pill in the pain reliever section and settled on the No Name Acetaminophen after reading the label while holding it centimeters away from his eyes.

The rest of my excursion was pretty uneventful. This Walmart was HUGE though and the Old Man and I kept ending up alone is aisle’s together. I cracked a joke about stocking him and found out that he’s hard of hearing too.

This was like a Mexican party in my mouth. ½ cup Refried Beans, Diced Tomatoes, Yellow and Orange Pepper, Half an Avocado, Romaine Lettuce finely cut up and a scoop of Greek Yogurt. At last, a home for the Greek Yogurt. This was DELICIOUS and VERY filling.

A total Powerhouse, 7 grams of fiber in ½ cup, 4 grams of protein and 200 mg Sodium (which is outstanding for refried beans). A++

At three I left work and headed for the Photoshoot at the store. I got to get all dressed up in some of the new clothes and sport some of the fancy jewelery. For the shot I was supposed to be dressing the Mannequin. There was one awkward moment when I realized that I had to be more careful where I was placing my hands, get to second base with the Mannequin? absolutely. Now THAT would be whole different kind of store.. and one unprofessional photo.

I got back to work and had a snack. Is it just me or does it seem like I’m eating one of these every other day?

The Goods

Smart Bran, Almond Milk mixed with half scoop Muscle Food AND almost empty Almond Butter Jar!!


Almost empty would be an understatement, I was FULL (of fat).

Throughout the day I try drink as many of these as I can:



For Suppa I attempted Falafels Round 2, SUCCESS!

Here's the recipe..

1/2 Cup Chickpeas
1 Clove Garlic
About 1/4 of an onion (maybe a little less)
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tbsp Cumin
1/2 Tsp Coriander
Sprinkle of Salt & Pepper

I threw all of this in the food processor, rolled them into 4 balls and put them in the oven for 30 minutes at 375. Since I was anxious (and hungry) I watched them like a hawk occasionally flipping them.

Taaadah!!!


I ate them with a side of Kale Chips (Kale, Olive Oil Spray, Nutritional Yeast, toss em in the oven until cripsy) annnnnd some unpictured BBQ sauce.

The rest of the night was pretty low key. My man and I had planned on going swimming but ended up watching a National Geographics show on an Ozzy Jail. As you can tell we're a couple of thrill seekers. You know what I was thinking while watching this? How strange jails are.. We just trap a bunch of people in a enclosed area and make other people make sure they don't get out. Weird..


1/2 Frozen Banana, 1/2 Scoop Muscle Food, Cinnamon and Almond Milk, blended in the magic bullet and topped with a scoop of PB. This was so yummy as usual but it didn't give me the feeling of full I was looking for.

So I had every intention of having 1/2 an Ezekiel English Muffin with Better Butter (Earth Balance)


I did.

BUT I also had the second half too..


I just can't help myself.

My Man had Mini Wheats and we were off to bed!!

  1. I love your cereal is a jar! I have an almost empty jar of Cinnamon Raisin Swirl that I should try that with :) Your homemade falafel looks great!

  2. thanks for commenting on my blog! I love finding other canadians to :) So i just spent like 20 minutes reading your other posts and I'm in loove! You also made me have an intense craving for kale chips so those are cooking up in the toaster oven as i type haha!
