I woke up yesterday morning with a horrible headache, not sure what to do I thought maybe I should try Ride. I've read that getting your endorphines going can help with headaches. Endorphines = Happy, Happy = No Headache? NOT. As soon as I started pedaling I popped a Relpax Migraine Pill in my mouth. To make matters worse the microphone in the ride room still wasn't working meaning the Ride instructor had to talk over the music. Well yesterday the instructor was actually screaming. Everytime she said something my head felt like it was going to explode. All I could think was that this must be some kind of bad joke, am I being punked?
When I came home I managed to have an unpictured glass of Muscle Food and my Cookie:
Luckily, I had a reflexology appointment booked for the morning and my Migraine pill had kicked enough that I could function. My second appointment wasn't nearly as painful as the first one but it was still no walk in the park. More like a walk in the park with a mean dog chasing you. When I got home I went straight to bed and was OUT.
By lunch time I knew that I wasn't going to be following any rules. Salad with this kind of headache? Are you high? All I wanted was comfort food and what's more comforting than Bnut Squash and Ketchup? Nothing.
I spent the afternoon with my bedroom blinds closed, a heat pack on my neck and a Tivo full of Mercy and Vampire Diaries. By 4 o'clock my headache was back with a Vengeance. Not thinking it through I took another Relpax, while I washed it down with water I wondered if I was allowed to take 1 or 2 in 24 hours. At that point I didn't care.
For a Late Afternoon Snack I tried out this NEW cereal:
In a JAR, almost empty Almond Butter Jar that is..
1/2 cup New Cereal, 1/2 Scoop Muscle Food blended with water and Cinnamon (tastes even better than Milk).
For Suppa I decided to attempt my own version of Poutine. I actually wasn't hungry at all but it was 7:30 and there was no way I wasn't having Supper. Hungry or not Poutine here I come:
Bnut Squash Fries, Mushroom Gravy and Hummnut Cheese Sauce (2 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast blended with 2 Tbsp Hummus and 1 Tbsp Water).
- As many mushrooms as you want cut into small pieces
- 6 Tbsp Water
- 1 Tsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Tsp Whole Wheat Flour
Add all ingredients to a small pan, except for the flour. Bring to a simmer and then add flour. Stir until the sauce thickens. Add more flour if needed. Once you reach the desired gravy consistency POUR all over your fries!!

Since I was actually really full from my Poutine I just a sliver of bread and 2 figs with PB.
While I ate my dessert I decided to finally look up Relpax. Turns out you are not supposed to exceed 40mg in a day, ONE of my pills is 40mg.. Damn.
After Supper My Man headed over to his buddies house, but not before packing his stuff..

It was only 8 o'clock but my night was coming to an end. I was hoping that if I went to bed I would fall asleep and wake up headache free. Actually I was hoping I would wake up period after 80 mg of Relpax.
I did. I woke up at 12:00 and headed downstairs for a snack. My appetite was back, food tastes so much better when you're hungry (or "think" your hungry).
